I am strongly against Planning applications being granted as I feel the infrastructure isn’t in place to facilitate vast numbers of visitors (parking for 10,750 cars, accommodation totalling 3,550 suites) when the surrounding roads in the immediate area are unable to cope with the current traffic situation concerning the Dartford Tunnel Crossing! The increase in air pollution on a daily basis will definitely prove detrimental to the health of local residents! Also, the habitat of many species of birds, including rare Marsh Harriers and many types of water fowl, will be irrevocably destroyed! I totally fail to see the value this development would bring to the local community when we struggle on a daily basis to cope with the problems brought about by the continued congestion caused by the Dartford Crossing.
