The Swanscombe Peninsula has been recognized as an outstanding wildlife habitat worthy of S.S.S.I. status. (Natural England). Wildlife habitats and species are being lost or damaged at an alarming rate in the UK. Swanscombe has evolved its unique diverse habitats and species over a very long period of time. Theme Parks come and go, but Swanscombe's unique wildlife and habitats would be lost for ever if the proposed development takes place. Swanscombe should not be damaged; it is part of our heritage.
