I am representing the protection of the land that is earmarked to be built on by a giant corporation for a theme park. I am totally against this plan. This area is of outstanding beauty, has wildlife galore that thrives and reproduces for years to come. The “park” will destroy this. The area will become a concrete; steel and plastic eyesore and the area instead of being filled with nature will be filled with over 10,000 vehicles and the pollution they bring. This does does not include the transport used the build this monstrosity. Our children may want excitement but our children also need beauty; wildlife; somewhere to walk and run; let off steam. People need this area to feel nature in an already built up area and to help with their mental health. We need to safeguard the local businesses and those that have built them up over the years. STOP this development and KEEP Swanscombe Marshes.
