I highly object to the destruction of the diverse wildlife habitat in the Swanscombe Marshes, in order to build a theme park which will create traffic, pollution, and only satisfy the greed of the developers. I find it unnecessary, as one could go to Margate or Eurodisney if they want this type of entertainment. The proposed location is out of the way, and it doesn’t make sense to put it there. I value the Marshes along the Thames and I spend time exploring whenever I have the chance, and I also volunteer to litter pick. It’s a shame that so much of this has already been destroyed, for example the Belvedere marshes, which are mostly industrial now and only a small nature reserve remains. Please don’t destroy this one! Once it’s gone, it’s gone forever and we can’t bring back the endangered plants, birds and insects. Don’t underestimate the impact on ecology and environmental, affecting future generations. Thank you. Shannon Knight
