My company is based on the Northfleet Estates and threatened by the proposals. We have been on these estates for 30 years. It would be extremely difficult to find alternative premises to suit our needs. • LRCH have never offered us any relocation premises • LRCH have never made any offers to my company • A theme park is not an essential infrastructure project • LRCH despite eight years of trying have not yet been able to fund it. • These businesses are critical for the local and developing infrastructure. If they are destroyed, much of the background infrastructure ‘glue’ and skilled jobs will go with them. • Despite wanting to take all of the estates, LRCH don’t even know what they will do with their second gate proposals and it is not enough to say that the ideas will come to them as they go, when they are considering destroying all these existing businesses.
