As a local resident Swanscombe peninsula is a very special place, and even more so over the last year for the well being and mental health. Such a lovely open space, so many varieties of animals and plants. It is lovely to see the many birds as over the years in many areas there has been a decline. I love the fact we have rare bees and this makes me happy , a world without bees would not be a good place, we need to encourage more bees and keep the one's we have safe. As with many of the rare invertebrates, the jumping spider very rare. I feel this wonderful space has been a saviour for many and in lockdown many more have found their way to enjoy this space. This space is good for the soul & wellbeing as a beautiful natural habitat it will benefit us more than any theme park ever could. This space needs to stay intact for the preservation of all the animals & plants that survive there. Nature gives us such a lot and we should respect and preserve her.
