The proposed development will lead to the destruction of the Natural Heritage both during the construction and its operation. The Natural Heritage of England is being destroyed at such a rate that it will soon have little place to exist without interference of the proposed kind. A development of this kind if it is to be approved should be placed in a much less sensitive area. There is little point in having environmental designations if they are to be overridden.
