Clearly the package of proposals in question represent a major threat to the local landscape, which in turn will affect tourist attraction and house values. May local residents at least have an assurance that there will be no more visible electricity pylons and that any security fences and buildings intended will be concealed and designed to be as invisible as possible. So far I cannot see that this is a major concern in the planning of these projects. It ought to be, regardless of extra costs. Let the wider population help to bear the costs of these new plans. John Giles. (Revd. Canon)
