My organisation the Aldeburgh Bookshop which I own with my wife objects to the proposals at Friston because they could be sited elsewhere either on the sea bed with a ring main. OR Adjacent to Cobra Mist on Orfordness owned by Nicholas Gold which Natural England do not consider of ecological interest. It is a big enough site which is a desert ecologically. The development process will cause a lot of disruption to the roads to and from Aldeburgh meaning that the public will not come to Aldeburgh and will be bad for sales. The High Street of Aldeburgh is fragile enough as it is without this happening
