I am concerned about this proposal for the following reasons: INCREASED TRAFFIC. The A1094, B1069, B1121 &B1122 are at best single carriageway roads or just narrow lanes or by-roads. All these will be seriously impacted by the proposal. The pedestrians in my village, especially those using pushchairs or wheelchairs, will find just getting around on a daily basis very troublesome. THE LIVING ENVIRONMENT. Proposals include the permanent removal of large areas of wildlife habitat. There will be disruption and displacement for our wildlife (already under threat anyway) both during construction and once the site is operational. Such damage is irreversible; mitigation is not a solution. IMPACT TO QUALITY OF LIFE. Our villages, our homes, will become isolated due to the extra heavy traffic and loss of footpaths. The alternative footpath close to Grove Road is unsuitably close to the proposed site. There will be irreversible damage to our landscape; currently open, green and peaceful. FLOOD RISK.We already have frequent flooding problems after heavy rain, predicted to get worse in the future. Proposed mitigation measures appear inadequate as they are anyway, and are even less likely to be able to cope in future. CUMULATIVE IMPACT. Overall, the cumulative negative effect of this proposal on top of other large-scale developments in east Suffolk is very damaging on every level. to people, wildlife and the environment. There can be no justification for it.
