I am opposed to the application for a sub station proposed by Scottish Power at Friston for the following reasons - It will destroy part of a fragile coastline. The route in land to Friston. will drive through and damage an area of outstanding natural beauty and farmland. It will harm and destroy wildlife habitats. It will close footpaths widely used by walkers. It could add to and cause further flooding by disturbing the landscape through construction. The increase of construction traffic, noise and pollution will be intolerable for Friston and local communities. Visually harm the village of Friston. Damage to tourism and therefore local economy.
