As a regular visitor to the region for many years, and with family connections going back to the 1950s I wish to object to these proposals , particularly on these grounds: * The damage to migrating species and to the wildlife corridor by severing the Suffolk Coast and Heaths AONB Destruction of ancient woodland * The threat to wildlife and the important Sandlings Heath * The building of substation complexes the size of Wembley Stadium on unspoilt countryside at Friston * Air pollution from traffic and trenches dug through Suffolk’s light sandy soil * The damage to Suffolk’s famous peace and tranquillity also causing noise pollution * At a time when world threats make the preservation and restoration of natural habitat a vital factor in securing a future for our life on this planet, this is the worst possible way to resolve the difficulties of delivering wind generated energy
