Dear Examining Auithority Re: EAST ANGLIA TWO We wish to object to the ScottishPower Renewables Planning Application. The vast complex of transformers, switching centre which is proposed in unspoiled countryside at Friston seems a completely unsuitable site to have been chosen. Just getting the cables to this area requires the destruction of ancient woodlands and a general upheaval for many years of footpaths, etc. Also the impact that the construction traffic will have on this local area and right the way through the countryside to Aldeburgh. This will have an enormous effect on residents with deliveries etc and will also impact on tourism and businesses. We think this needs to be looked at again and a more comprehensive plan for an offshore ringmain installed enabling it to pick up future Windfarms, which could be brought ashore on a brownfield site.
