We are in support of the need for alternative solutions to produce energy. However, are very concerned about the size of this proposal, which will severely impact upon the surrounding villages and towns, changing forever these communities, the surrounding countryside, and landscape. The loss and destruction of agricultural land and open countryside, already impacted by extensive housing development and urbanisation must now be subject to further development. The peace and pace of life that characterise living in the country, is why people chose to live in these communities, already this is changing at a fast pace, with the increase and impact of traffic and associated noise in particular, surely this will only worsen. We are fearful of being surrounded by such a vast infrastructure of solar panels, batteries etc, and of the potential associated risks, of which we feel we have limited information.
