I object to the Sunnica Energy Farm Application for the following reasons. • The loss of 2,500 acres of Green Field land which is good quality vegetable growing land. This will make us more reliant on imports from the Continent which will require more heavy transport to distribute it increasing our Carbon Footprint. Local jobs will also be lost. • Sunnica are a Spanish owned company so profits will not remain in this country. • I have great concern of the siting of the BESS compounds close to residential areas with the possible release of poisonous gasses should they catch fire which they are known to do. Also the ones I have seen give off a loud humming noise which carries large distances. • The Scheme will create more Carbon in its lifetime than it will save. • There is no plan to guarantee the land will be returned to agricultural land after 40 years. I think it is unrealistic to think that a Spanish Company would return to Britain to deal with this.
