My main areas of concern regarding this proposed “green” energy development are: . there is NO GUARANTEE the land can be returned to agricultural use after 40 years! . is there any proposal to clear/clean the land once this project ends? . how can such an ENORMOUS scheme be “green” when it’s impact will be so great? . prime agricultural land will be lost for AT LEAST 40 years - if not FOREVER . the BESS allow Sunnica to buy and store cheap electricity and sell it back to the grid when more expensive, making huge profits for them . this project has a HUGE CARBON FOOTPRINT . the solar panels/batteries will probably come from China! . over 100 acres of concrete will be used . the environmental impact will be HUGE Overall, the impact on prime agricultural land and the environment in general due to the equipment which will be used doesn’t add up to me for the amount of energy it will generate. I cannot support this proposal and sincerely hope it doesn’t go ahead.
