I am a resident of the nearby high town or Mildenhall. Sunnica Plc now wishes to create several sites for photovoltaic energy harvesting and battery power storage facilities next to my town with the attendant traffic for construction and maintenance. While sustainable renewable energy production is laudable, this should happen as detrimental towards agricultural self sufficiancy of our nation. Valuable farm land is being destroyed, overbuild and wasted here. With National Grid complaining about not being able to transfer so much energy from decentralised renewables, it is doubtful Sunnica will be able to use those sites for profitable production, or if they do, we may face a collaps of our national power grid in this area. Furthermore, the supplied documentation about the proposed sites Sunnica wants to opperate battery storage systems on, it appears, that water from potential fires may drain into the underground without taking into account toxic residue. As such I don't see how the proposed photovoltaic sites are of anything better than negative value for the residents in this area and in England as such.
