I firmly object to the Sunnica proposal for the following reasons: =The consultations were non existent! =It's a get rich quick scheme by charlatans! =BESS batteries are a danger to the residents of all the villages that this 2,800 acres site will surround, namely Red Lodge where I live with my family, Kennett where my children go to school, Worlington, Barton Mills, West Row, Isleham, Freckenham, Chippenham, Fordham and Snailwell. Very close to all these villages putting them in danger should these huge batteries catch fire. Fumes are toxic! =It will also be dangerous to the environment and not to mention the wildlife that would suffer. =Good grade agricultural land will be used which this country needs now more than ever due to the Ukraine situation. =Suffolk is one of the largest producers of wheat. We should not have to rely on other countries to supply this when we can produce our own. =Solar panels should be placed on all new development roofs and commercial buildings do not take away our valuable agricultural land here in Suffolk. = I cannot imagine looking out to nature and seeing thousands of panels & fences for miles and miles. Surely this is not the way to save the planet!?!
