I object to farming land being given up to to produce electricity, especially in relation to climate changes which are going to effect food production worldwide. I also question whether or not, looking at manufacture of materials for this vast operation, transport costs involved, energy and resources involved in altering many of the roads to allow access and the heavy costs in de-commissioning the site and the undeniable fact that the sun does not always shine in the UK.......will this plan really ever become carbon neutral? I believe the safety of the lithium batteries remains questionable. I accept lithium fires are not frequent but it cannot be guaranteed that a fire will not happen and it will only take one fire in the batteries so close to a local school in a heavily populated village to cause a real tragedy.
