I wish to register my objection to the construction of the Sunnica solar farm for the following reasons: 1. The project would remove valuable, irrigated farmland from production permanently at a time of great price instability and insecurity of imports. UK produced food should be prioritised 2. The project has no genuine carbon reducing credentials. The construction process, the manufacture and importation of equipment and the power to run it will ensure it contributes more carbon to the environment than it can hope to save over its lifetime 3. The project gives no benefit to the local community who will have to live with the disruption to their environment. It is an energy trading scheme designed to maximise profit for far distant multinationals
