The present invasion of Ukraine was a wake-up call to alert us of the importance to be self-sufficiency in energy resources. This project is a great contribution, not only to meeting the climate change pledge and at the same time providing us with energetic autonomy. It is really shocking how people are all so ready to protest against global warming and when solutions are offered they promptly shout " not in my back yard". It is sad to witness this sort of hypocritical virtue-signaling in a recent biased BBC East news broadcast giving more weight to complainers rather than explaining the benefits of the project.
