I do not agree with the proposal because of the land it will be taking up, which we will be needing to grow crops on now we are not in Europe, where we will have to produce more of our own food to keep costs down. They say it is low grade farm land but since we have lived here we have never seen a field where nothing has been grown on. The project in itself is not very green or carbon neutral, because of the carbon which is being produced to make all the components in other third world countries like china India and others, Where there is no health and safety and child labour are being used to produce these materials and parts. And these carbon figures do not go on our footprint because they are not produced in this country. They say it will not b carbon neutral for at least 15 to 20 years (sunnica did not have the figures to confirm this or disagree with this). As well sunnica could not give us any figures on safety of the battery’s or size or positions in relation to residential property and schools. So as things go a not very green project producing a load of carbon to make, a blite on the landscape. Taking away land for food. Not liked by most of the surrounding residents, all to get to the government’s green figures .
