Mildenhall High Town Council formally objects to the development due to the size and scale of the development, impact on the landscape, lack of benefit for the local community either in improved amenity or employment. This would effectively change the area into an industrialised rather than rural environment. They also formally object on the concerns surrounding traffic in the area and on they type and nature of storage of the batteries which have been deemed unsafe elsewhere. The Council feels it is important to add that they are not against green and sustainable energies, including solar energy, but not on developments of this scale.
