I wish to register my objections to the Sunnica Proposals for an Energy Farm in West Suffolk as follows:- 1. The proposals use large tracts of prime agricultural land that currently is used for growing valuable needed crops. 2. The construction of the farm will not be carbon neutral and over the life of the farm there will be a large carbon deficit. 3. The construction will not produce benefits for the local or indeed the national economy as the solar panel are likely to be sourced from China and the construction work will be undertaken by a firm in Yorkshire. 4. The siting of the farm will have a detrimental impact on property prices which will never recover. 5. There is undoubtedly a need for solar farms but these should be dispersed around the country to minimise the impact on individual communities. Glynn J East
