I believe that the site is out of all proportion to the area in which it is being placed. It’s around many villages but even more importantly the world-famous Newmarket Gallops. The danger the glint of panels could scare horses and close down peoples desire to have horses Trained in Newmarket is frightening. To be gambling with a £1 billion industry which has so much importance to the local economy is crazy. I am a huge fan of solar power but we will destroy the Publix acceptance if we place these panels in totally inappropriate sites such as this. There are many placed near to motorways which are great. I have one going up next to my farm by my neighbours which is a sensible position. Extremely idiotic is the only way I can describe this site as so many people will see it and it risks damaging such an important industry. Please don’t gamble with the future of so many people.
