I would like to list my current concerns about the Sunnica project especially East site B. • There is a fully functioning water reservoir which together with this soil type is perfect for growing many crops which we all need such as potatoes and onions. This is becoming ever more important to grow near a water source due to the warmer climate and uncertain rain full! •The reservoir is and has been used for its purpose for 30 years pluss now and to have this threat of becoming un needed in this current climate change environment is such a waste of current resources! •If Sunnica East Site B was constructed this water source would be left for another 30 years of not contributing to food production, in my opinion this is a greater need than energy. • Interestingly the reservoir isn’t shown on the Sunnica Website maps? •Also concerned about the storage of energy by large batteries systems, as the high risk of pollution if batteries malfunction. What protocols are in place? •Pollution into the soil this will even be present after the project come to an end in many years. How can they provide evidence to say they can return the land to its current state? This in my opinion is why the location of and size of Sunnica site has to be reconsidered, looking at the bigger factors for future generations.
