I am opposed to the planned solar power plant by Sunnica, I think this sought of project should be built away from housing areas, this is a massive industrial eye sore. I can’t believe that over 2700 acres of productive farmland is going to be sacrificed to a million solar panels, 100 acres of concrete, 77 acres of battery compounds and miles of fencing, then there is the possible contamination from all the solar panels and batteries, can this be guaranteed not to happen. There are dangers of battery storage fires and explosions that can’t be extinguished easily, and releasing poisonous chemicals into the environment. The upheaval of all the extra traffic that this causes, will greatly affect the villages for two years or so, the roads will be very busy and muddier. I am concerned there are a lot of unknowns in regard to all the electro-magnetic affects on health from such a large project. I believe the scale of this project will have a large negative impact on the wildlife in the area, displacing lots of species from their habitats. The whole area will be made an eyesore by Sunnica, this should not be allowed to be built near people and their homes.
