This solar power farm is not beneficial for any of the residents in the area. The reasons I am not supporting this application is mainly because simply this has a life changing impact on our life. I have not been able to find one thing that would benefit us. It is very clear that this project is not as green as they want us to believe. We choose to live here because of the large amount of green space and now this is being converted in to an industrial area. I understand the government want to meet the green energy standards but at what lrice really? As an engineering student I am surprised that in this age there is no other option for a solar power farm than destroying the green land, now when we are all aware of the Environmental issues... I would have hoped that there are much better ideas for green energy, for example usage of rooftops like in more developed countries, eg Germany and Austria.
