I am concerned over the size of the solar farm so close to a thriving village community and I think that it will negatively impact the area. We will be wasting large areas of good productive agricultural land. The size and scope of the areas earmarked for battery storage are totally oversized. They are far beyond what would be needed for the panels. There is very little information as to the nature of the batteries and especially considering the proposed locations, so near to residential area and even schools, no safety proposals or reassurances as to what might happen in case of fire etc - no complete risk assessments. Bearing in mind other issues with fires in instances of large battery storage, this could potentially be extremely hazardous. It could indeed be another Grenfell Tower. It would appear that the scheme will creat more of a carbon footprint than it saves.
