On behalf of the Millennium Centre Board of Trustees I wish to register my concerns and objections to the proposed siting of the largest lithium battery storage unit of the three proposed in this scheme in such close proximity to housing, schools and nurseries and a busy community centre. Sunnica could not, would not reply to questions put to them regarding fire hazard and potential toxic fumes. There was no mention of any plans for evacuation or any emergency measure in place. Our building hosts the Monterssori Nursery with under school age infants. We have other regular users and staff in the building and there is a Restaurant Bar also. My concern is the lack of any information or interest by Sunnica in these problems, quite apart from the fact that all of our questions concerning farmland and other important issues were just brushed to one side and not answered.
