Impact, Safety, Sustainability and Contribution are the issues that I wish to discuss. Impact:- 1. There would be significant traffic at times when early commuters will be on the road. 2. Roads are simply not up to the traffic. Elms Rd floods at the bottom of our drive every time there is a full day of rain. 3. There would be a HUGE impact to property prices in our area. This simply cannot be denied. Is the government aware of any impact analysis on property values? There will be a huge amount of corporate profit at the expense of local home owners. Safety:- 1. If Sunnica was to sell their interest in this development, will they have any legal responsibility to ensure that the Scheme is adequated maintained? 2. Sunnica has stated 'it is anticipated that there would be no significant major accidents and disasters effects from the scheme’ thereby seemingly ignoring the risk of a battery fire. 3. Sunnica has stated that there are buffer zones between the battery stations - I believe those buffer zones are the villages. Sustainability:- 1. I absolutely do not concur that this land is unproductive - land around us is harvested at least twice a year. 2. The scheme will destroy wildlife corridors, nesting and feeding habitats and require the removal of natural trees and hedges. Sunnica has not adequately demonstrated how these are to be replaced and encouraged back into the area? Contribution 1. Sunnica believe the scheme will create local economic benefits during the construction process which includes the use of local suppliers and businesses yet they failed to demonstrate how. 2. And once the scheme is in place Sunica has not shown that there will be any ongoing economic benefits for the local community. Surely this should be a necessary prerequisite to go some way toward outweighing the negative aspects of the scheme and the risk to all local residents. A couple of maintenance men buying sandwiches each lunchtime simply does not cut it. 3. Sunnica flippantly mentioned a dedicated skills program for local people yet have not provided any information about this. I look forward to the opportunity to present these points.
