  1. Agriculture We farm at Dalham and Higham. In the current political situation more than ever the country needs land for the production of food. Once this good quality irrigated vegetable growing land is lost, the Sunnica project will utilise this land for housing development. Infrastructure to support this will be exceedingly difficult. This area's roads are already overloaded. Any accidents on the A14 or M11 produce chaos on the surrounding roads, as well as causing traffic to come through the local villages. 2. The Environment and Health Habitats for 100s of species will be ruined. The Sunnica BESS will be built adjacent to many homes and if the BESS catch fire they produce lethal toxic emissions. Surely we are trying to improve the environment we live in. It is not sustainable with the Carbon Zero plan by 2050. This very poor scheme design has a huge carbon footprint. It is the opposite of all the principles we as human beings are trying to set for the future. 3. Employment in the area. There will be no local employment benefit. 4. Property price reduction: This project will deeply affect the value of our properties in close proximity to it as well as those not so close. 5. Road chaos adjacent to Royal Worlington Golf Club Sunnica is planning to use Golf Links Road as an access point. This will be extremely disruptive to the historic 9 hole club and area. The landscape will be completely ruined, the adjacent roads chaotic, causing a backlog onto the A14. 6. Solar panels: It seems outrageous that 1,000,000 solar panels, mostly imported from China, of 2.5m high, will be blotting our landscape and landscape for the next generation. What example does this set for the young? 7. Spanish owners Why indeed do we need to tolerate this foreign enterprise? Why can they not carry this out in their own country? This project is purely for the Spanish owners to gain enormous profits. 8. Financial Rewards This is just a way of a company buying cheap electricity out of the grid (from renewable and non renewable sources), storing it in BESS and selling it back to the grid when this commodity's prices rise. I personally think this project is a disgrace. Thank you. Caroline
