As an Electrician and a Health & Safety Manager I have a number of worrying concerns and miss use/inefficient forms of generating electricity. Safety Concerns: The batteries are not reliable and very dangerous, something which repeatedly is overlooked by the proposers. Electrical & financial worries: The installing is very costly both in installation and maintenance. The energy generated from the panels would not outweigh the cost to install and then replace the panels, after their short lifespan. Damage to the environment: Not only does the setup scar the landscape, it also has a detrimental effect on the future of the landscape. Taking away habitats, plant life and vital green spaces. The installation of the cables as well causes unnecessary distress to wildlife and residents. All local and surrounding residents are constantly being ignored and sunica do not seem to realise people will have to live next to this disastrous infrastructure.
