I am against this proposal of establishing a huge solar and battery plant around our nearby countryside. I feel it is far too big and too close to homes, it will devalue homes, and will have a hugely negative affect on the environment. By environment I mean not just the environment of the people who live here, but our wild life, the fact that this is good quality farm land and also the hugely negative carbon footprint of this proposed development. I am also seriously worried about the safety aspect of the huge battery energy storage compounds, the size of them and the proximity to housing. Certainly this development will affect my peace of mind and enjoyment of this part of the world. I never wanted to live in a huge solar panel development.
