I have grave concerns regarding this development. The impact on local communities is going to be immense. The value of our properties is going to be severely negatively impacted by this development. The many affected villages are going to see major disruption, with massive amounts of heavy traffic, on, one assumes, an ongoing basis. The environmental impact on nature is also going to be immense, with certain wildlife struggling for its very survival already. The loss of further habitat will be a disaster. I remain totally unconvinced that this massive blot on the local landscape, is really going to be of major benefit to the environment. I believe it to be a money making venture, conceived by people who have absolutely no regard, or interest in our community. What will happen to the vast amount of equipment at the point of decommissioning ? That is going to be an enormous task and something for the next generation to be concerned about.
