The size of this development is to big. The land it will cover is fertile farm land which has been farmed for generations & provides jobs & a massive variety of food every year. Millions of pounds has been spent on building reservoirs & bore holes to provide the bulk of this land with watering systems which has also helped improve the productivity of this land immensely. This land is vital farm land & it needs protecting. The batteries that are being used are in a very dangerous position being so close to homes & businesses. Our water supply in this area comes from the under ground reservoir that sits directly under where the battery site will sit. Any disaster or spillage from these batteries could contaminate millions of homes drinking water & this is another risk that shouldn’t be taken. This project is all about making money & not about the people that actually live & work in our community.
