The proposal is for a colossal project which will have far reaching effects on the area that i love, and have come to call home. Myself and thousands of other residents are opposed to the scheme which will take acres of beautiful arable land, and a vibrant ecosystem of wildlife, and replace with a sea of solar panels. The countryside plays an important part in feeding an ever growing population. The scheme includes the use of batteries which are reported to be very hazardous. Questions have also been raised about the removal of the panels and associated infrastructure at the end of the project...whether the land could ever recover.. or simply be turned into sites for more building. I didnt choose to live in a powerplant.
