  1. Areas of valuable agricultural land will be taken out of production 2. Our local infrastructure of small country roads and villages will suffer hugely during the years of construction. 3. Huge, dangerous batteries will be built far to close to local populations for safety. 4. The scheme is far from carbon neutral even over the 40 year life span. Importing panels from China. 5. Local footpaths will be closed permanently. 6. It will have a negative impact on the racing industry, a big employer locally. 7. The batteries will be used for energy trading - nothing to do with clean energy, just making money.
