I disagree with the application because: 1) The community is very concerned and the consultation has been less than adequate. 2) The scheme will decommission 2,500 acres of arable land at a time when food security is a concern. 3) I am skeptical of the carbon neutral aspect of the scheme because the application is vague about the amount of carbon the scheme will produce during the manufacturing and shipping of the industrial materials as well as the carbon that will be produced from having to ship in food from other counties that we will no longer harvest from the fields that the scheme will be built on. 4) I disagree with the vague details of the BESS and the fact that the safety of hundreds of school children and staff are at risk. 5) I disagree with the large scale of the scheme because it will cause irreversible damage to the countryside, changing the landscape and this area forever. 6) I disagree with the application because it does not consider the lives that are at stake. People will lose their business, homes, and livelihoods. 7) I disagree with the BESS because of the danger and the possibly for energy trading.
