This is far too big, 10 times the size of a typical solar farm, swallowing whole villages and changing the local landscape from a tranquil agricultural setting, rich in wildlife, to an industrial power plant. The loss of agricultural land will have an impact on the local economy and the loss of production would likely need to be made up by importing food, which increases CO2 emissions. Reduced house valuations and desire to live in the area, with views over the landscape changed forever with panels, batteries, fencing, and noise and light pollution a dominating factor. The scheme will remove wildlife corridors, disturbing nesting and feeding habitats, which, once gone will not be easily recovered. There is a limit to the amount of solar power that the UK grid can manage, and there is absolutely no need to use agricultural land, but by using "brown field" locations as well as commercial and domestic rooftops.
