The existing and still being built solar farm systems around the surrounding areas, ie, Wicken, Stretham and Six Mile Bottom have already consumed too much prime arable land. A more suitable site is available, such as, land between the A11 and A1065 approximately 5 miles north of Five-ways roundabout? Hundreds of acres where even weeds have difficulty in growing. Putting the solar panels in the present proposed sites will take thousands of Pounds off the neighbouring properties. In addition, the storage batteries will have a detrimental effect on the surrounding population with electro-magnetic emissions and worst of all the toxins released when a storage battery/batteries catch alight. The local roads, already in abysmal condition, will further deteriorate leaving the tax payers, not Sunnica, to pick up the tab for repairs.
