I intend to object to the building of a massive number of solar panels on what is currently productive farmland. I believe this to be shortsighted and a mistake. Solar energy should not come at the expense of green land. I have great concerns regarding the safety of the energy storage plants too. Should this Energy Farm go ahead it will detrimentally alter the landscape and community. The negative impact will be profound and long lasting. Solar energy should not come at the expense of destroying our countryside.
