I totally object to the plans to build this solar farm for the following reasons; it's close proximity to currently healthy population of our villages. I'd like to protect our valuable, food producing, agricultural farmland. The UK needs to become more self-sufficient and taking this valuable land out of production will not contribute to that cause. The increase traffic to the local area for the approximately 1600 staff vehicles and 200 HGV vehicles every day. This will cause traffic, noise and increased wear on the already underfunded roads. There will be road closures and footpath closures to areas frequently enjoyed by myself and my family. The increased staff will put a strain on local shops and services. There will be species lost by this scheme along with water contamination which is totally unacceptable for a "green" solution. The noise pollution from the piling will be constant and unbearable. It will alter the landscape and current vistas enjoyed by the local people and visitors. The battery technology is a severely dangerous and volatile piece of equipment and could cause serious healthy issues to thousands of people should anything go wrong with it's close proximity to locals. The land will take decades to ever be returned, if it ever will, to farmland. The land will be contaminated and realistically unusable for growth. I am deeply concerned for my family, friends and future generations health and wellbeing due to this scheme. It is already causing undue stress and anxiety to so many.
