I am not happy with the way Sunnica has handled the application for Solar panels on land around Isleham, Freckenham,Chippenham, Snailwell, Fordham. They have not consulted with any of these villages properly to state their intention to build and manage this vaste solar panel development. They have answered NO questions asked by residents regarding this. Why is the British government not taking action to move this huge development , to land not used for agriculture. The land proposed is some of this countries most fertile for growing the crops we need to feed the United Kingdom.which is going to be cruicial in coming years. We know there is a station to be built in Burwell that processes this energy. It’s in the wrong place !!!! Why are the profits not going to our uk government instead of Spanish companies. Do we have any proof that the huge batteries will not harm our community and young children. The pLANs are situated close to several schools . What will happen to the folk working and living in the agricultural community. The farms will be ruined. Can you tell me answers to all these questions. Isn’t it illegal to use green agricultural land for industry other than farming? Plus what happens after their use is ended? Who is responsible for the breakdown of these panels, and also for the endangered habitats of all the creatures currently living there. What happens to the panels at the end of their usefultime? the “BESS” batteries are huge, and are situated nearby housing, why? It’s dangerous you have such high Voltage close to the public. What happens if there is afire, either by default or arsen? Surely this kind of toxic development should be housed away from residential areas. Could you please. Xanswer these questions. Thankyou!
