Historic England is the Government’s lead advisor on the historic environment, and we are a non-departmental public body sponsored by, and reporting to the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport. Historic England is satisfied that the proposed changes to the Application relating to the provision for the compulsory acquisition of additional land would not result in any additional impact to designated heritage assets. We have no additional comments to make regarding the current proposed changes and our existing advice in our Written Representation remains valid.
