The Applicant applied to the Secretary of State on 19 January 2023 (PDF, 215 KB) for corrections to be made to the Development Consent Order.

On 18 April 2023 the Secretary of State issued a Correction Notice (PDF, 125 KB) and Correction Order (PDF, 76 KB) to make corrections to the Keadby 3 (Carbon Capture Equipped Gas Fired Generating Station) Order 2022. The Correction Order will come into force on 20 April 2023.

The Examining Authority (ExA) has exercised its discretion to accept an Additional Submission from the Applicant (PDF, 242KB).

The ExA has published a letter notifying parties of amendments to the Examination Timetable and a request for further information from the Applicant, National Grid Electricity Transmission, Historic England, Pollock Associates (on behalf of Messrs Strawson and Severn), and North Lincolnshire Council (PDF, 198KB).

The Examining Authority (ExA) has exercised its discretion to accept two Additional Submissions from the Applicant. These comprise proposed changes to the itinerary for the Accompanied Site Inspection (ASI) to be held on Tuesday 12 April 2022 (PDF, 707 KB) in view of certain practical considerations, and a route map showing the ASI locations (PDF, 4 MB).

Taking the Applicant’s suggested changes to the itinerary into account, the ExA has published an updated itinerary for the ASI (PDF, 748 KB). Please note that this supersedes the itinerary that was published in the ExA’s letter dated 21 February 2022 (PDF, 219 KB).

The ExA has issued a Rule 17 – Request for Further Information (PDF, 164 KB) to all Interested Parties regarding the publication of responses to consultation on the Applicant’s Scoping Report from Public Health England (PDF, 660 KB) and Ministry of Defence (PDF, 55 KB). The Rule 17 letter also requests responses from Cadent Gas, National Grid Electricity Transmission and National Grid Gas in relation to recent Additional Submissions made by Cadent Gas (PDF, 145 KB) and Cadent Gas and National Grid (PDF, 1 MB).

The deadline for all responses to the Rule 17 letter is Deadline 5 (Tuesday 5 April 2022).
