My address will have a trench run through the field in front of the property with the farm tracks been used for access for heavy machinery involved in the project. The noise from heavy plant will be hugely impactive as my wife works from home. The proposal also involves digging up the farm track to our property. This will severely limit our access and is the route our children walk to school. The agricultural land that is currently farmed will be dug up, putting this land out of use at a time the U.K. looking to stabilise its food security. Tendring is a small village so the impact of the work will be much more noticeable to its residents. Whilst I fully understand the need for critical infrastructure and support renewable energy, an alternative route for the cabling out at sea and along the coast looks to have less impact on the environment and local population.
