The plan is disjointed and ill conceived serving to benefit outside shareholders and not the population who will have their lives disrupted and disturbed for years ahead. It is illogical to destroy large swathes of farmland and burden people with the noise, pollution and upheaval of a project that is questionably for the benefit of future generations. If this project is essential a sub sea plan would mitigate the massive disruption it will otherwise cause. The people of Tendring are being used as sacrificial lambs for a project whose benefits are poorly defined and future generations will have the legacy of a beautiful countryside blighted by concrete and steel. No previous generations have ever destroyed the natural beauty of the land in the way that is now planned. We need to stop these mis-guided projects now.
