Dear Sir/Madam, Re: Five Estuaries Offshore Wind Farm Relevant Representations open with The Planning Inspectorate – Relevant Representation Submission Following the Planning Inspectorate’s acceptance (23 April 2024) of the application for a Development Consent Order (DCO) for Five Estuaries Offshore Wind Farm, Kent County Council (KCC) requests to be registered as an Interested Party at the Examination. The County Council has no specific comments or issues regarding this application to make at this time. However, the County Council wishes to continue to engage in the Examination as an interested party given the proximity of the development to Kent’s coastline, should input be required. The County Council considers that it is important that it continues to have the opportunity to monitor the progress of the project in case more significant issues for Kent emerge beyond the minimal visual impact currently anticipated. The County Council looks forward to continuing to engage with the applicant and the Planning Inspectorate as the project progresses through the DCO process and would welcome the opportunity to comment on matters of detail throughout the Examination. Should you require any additional information or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me. Your faithfully [Redacted] Director of Growth and Communities
