Crossness Nature Reserve is a 25.5-hectare reserve, part of the Erith Marshes and is a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation. The proposed development threatens where one of Britain’s rarest bees, the Shrill Carder Bee can be found. It now only survives in 5 scattered populations and requires urgent protection. It is a Priority Species under Section 41 of the Natural Environment and Rural Communities (NERC) Act 2006. Stop Cory building on Crossness Nature Reserve!
